Strengths: He holds the natural advantages of being a demon, such as regeneration, enhanced strength, and inhuman speed. He is able to sense "battle spirit" and holds many techniques, as well as extreme battle prowess. He's incredibly determined to fight, to the point where if his head is cut off, he can continue to battle onwards.Weaknesses: As like other demons, his weakness is being beheaded by a demon slayer’s blade. However, he’s able to regenerate his head should he be given enough time ––– this is his only weakness, and it’s one that’s more often than not, a gamble.

Distinguishing Characteristics: While she always seemed sickly, perhaps the most memorable thing about her appearance was that she always carried a look in her eye that spoke of hope of better days.

Since her mother had killed herself due to an undiagnosed autoimmune disease, Koyuki always carried an innate fear of abandonment by those she loved. She tries (and fails) to hide her fears from others, always emotional about the guilt she holds in her heart. Despite her illnesses regularly affecting her body – from her painful and stiff joints, to her limited ability to breathe, to damaging her ability to fight off common illnesses – she retained a strong and supportive relationship with her father, and later, Hakuji, who she grew to trust as a dear friend.However, due to her illnesses, she grew up only really knowing the walls of her home. She’d missed out on many opportunities, and only really knew people as acquaintances, rather than friends. Because of this, she’d grown up very lonely and is easily made emotional; whenever someone would spend time with her, she would be overwhelmed with the need to thank them – that’s just the kind of person Koyuki was.But she was grateful for her family life. She loved her father dearly, and deeply appreciated Hakuji’s company – even if she didn’t know how to initially approach it. Over time, while frustrations with herself would always exist, she would find less fault with her health – due to her father’s work, and Hakuji’s support, she encountered hope that would never, ever leave her eyes.

The idea that disabled people must be cured (especially by someone of the opposite gender) is a trope that makes me uncomfortable, and I’m not going to contribute to it.—» Koyuki does not fall in love with Hakuji, but sees him as her best friend.
